So individuals do not come out of pocket when we represent them. We work purely on a contingency basis, so if they don’t get anything, we don’t get anything.
And we think that works to motivate us, just as well as it does to reward and motivate the whistleblowers themselves.
All the expenses are borne by the law firm itself, and those expenses can be quite high. They include things like expert fees, depositions and litigation, discovery fees--things like that.
