Frank Petosa

Frank M. Petosa is a partner with Morgan & Morgan and the coordinator of the firm’s interdisciplinary Oil Spill Practice Group. He also leads the personal injury practice in Morgan & Morgan’s Plantation, FL office.

Frank was an integral member of the Phase 2 Trial Team and a Co-Coordinator of the Economic Damages Work Group for individuals and businesses impacted by the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. His litigation experience also includes the nationwide Reglan cases, the Chinese Drywall Multi-District Litigation and the Denture Cream Multi-District Litigation.

Healthcare Fraud

The federal government spends billions of dollars each year on healthcare and prescription drugs for Americans through Medicare, Medicaid, and other medical programs. If a doctor, hospital, or nursing home overcharges or otherwise submits false billing claims to these programs, taxpayer dollars have essentially been stolen.

A native of Boston, James grew up in Florida and attended school there, earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and a law degree from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan’s Complex Litigation Unit, he had an illustrious career as Special Counsel to three Florida Attorneys General.
